Caregiver Survey: Experience with Car Seats

We are interested in learning more about how parents and caregivers interact with car seats (child restraints). If you regularly transport a child who uses any type of car seat, please consider filling out our survey below. Your responses to this survey will guide researchers in developing new research studies which address real and relevant concerns for consumers. Please note that this survey is voluntary, and you may leave any questions blank that you do not feel comfortable answering. The survey should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on the depth of your responses.

Please do not participate in the survey if you are under 18 years old. Please do not reveal any personally identifying information in your responses if you wish to retain your anonymity. If you choose to provide your email address at the end of the survey for the chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card in our raffle, your contact information will be stored separately from your survey responses. We will not use your email address for anything besides notification if you win the raffle.

If you have questions or concerns about this survey, please contact Julie Bing at the Ohio State University Center for Child Injury Prevention Studies at ibrc@osu.edu. For questions about your rights as a participant in this study or to discuss other study-related concerns or complaints with someone who is not part of the research team, you may contact Ms. Sandra Meadows in the Office of Responsible Research Practices at 1-800-678-6251.
